1. Introduction
Playcado ("we," "our," or "us") is a client application for the Jellyfin media server.
We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting it. This application is designed
to connect to your own personal Jellyfin server. We do not host your content, nor do we
have access to your personal media library.
2. Data Collection and Usage
We do not collect, store, or share your personal information, viewing history, or media
library content on our servers. All media data is transmitted directly between your device
and your personal Jellyfin server.
3. Application Permissions
To function correctly, Playcado requires specific permissions:

Local Network (iOS) / Nearby Devices (Android):
Required solely to discover and connect to Google Cast™ devices (Chromecast, Google TV)
on your network. We do not scan your network for any other purpose.

Location (Android):
Android versions prior to 12 require Location permission to discover Bluetooth/WiFi
devices for Casting. We do not track, store, or share your physical location.

Notifications:
Used solely to display the progress of active downloads in the status bar.
4. Data Storage

Authentication:
Your server address, username, and password/token are stored securely on your device
using the device's native secure storage (Keychain on iOS, Keystore on Android). This
data is never sent to us.

Downloads:
Media files you download are stored locally on your device for offline playback.
5. Third-Party Services

Sentry:
We use Sentry to collect anonymous crash reports and performance data. This helps us fix
bugs and improve the app. This data does not include your personal media content or server
credentials.

Google Cast SDK:
Used to enable casting functionality.
6. Changes to This Policy
We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. You are advised to review this page
periodically for any changes.
